The Kolbl bassoon seat strap is made from leather. It attaches to the bassoon via a leather boot cap which slips onto the metal boot cap of the bassoon. This type of bassoon seat strap requires no modification to the bassoon. The seat strap takes the bassoon's weight off most of your body, allowing you to sit more easily & with a more relaxed correct posture. Bassoon seat straps can only be used when sitting.
